RESOLUTION DESIGNATING ARTHUR STEPHENSON
AS INDIVIDUAL AUTHORIZED TO ISSUE CITATIONS
FOR VIOLATIONS OF COUNTY ORDANCES.
WHEREAS, by the terms of House Bill 3557 enacted into law
In the 1976 legislative session, any Monroe County building and
zonIng enforcement official designated by resolution of the Board
of County Commissioners of Monroe County may issue citations for
violations of any Monroe County ordinance, and
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the following person
IS qualified by reason of training and experience to issue said
citations, and the Board is desirous of authorizing hfum to issue
citations for violations, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA:
1. That Arthur Stephenson, Monroe County Building and
Zoning Enforcement Official shall be authorized to issue citations
for violations of any Monroe County ordinance in accordance with
the requirements of law:
2. That the Clerk of the Board is hereby directed to
forward certified copies of this resolution to the Honorable
M. Ignatius Lester, Chief Circuit Judge, the Honorable Paul E.
Esquina1do, County Judge, the Honorable Lester A. Garringer,
County Judge, the Honorable David Kirwan, County Judge, and to
the Honorable Jeff Gautier, State Attorney.
Passed and adopted by the Board of County Commissioners
of Monroe County, Florida, this 17th day of July, 1979.
