RESOLUTION DENYING"'.'ZONING APPEAL
OF MAX ROY COCKERHAM
WHEREAS, the Monroe County Zoning Board on July 27, 1979, denied
a requested change of zoning from RU-3 to BU-3 and a Special use
permit for an auto junk yard for property owned by MAX ROY COCKERHAM
for real property described as:
and,_
A portion of Lot 6, according to the Plat of
Government Lot 1, all of Lots 2 ands:'-3, of
Section 32, Township 63 South, Range 37 East,
as surveyed for Lee Pinder, by G.L. Mc Donald,
C.E. as recorded in Plat Book 1, Page 41, Lots
1 through 4, Block 1, of Curry Subdivision as
recorded in Plat Book 3, Page 1.18, and located
in Section 5, Township 64 South, Range 37 East,
Upper Matecumbe Key.
WHEREAS, MAX ROY COCKERHAM having duly appealed said denial to
the Monroe County Board of County Commissioners who sitting -as the
Zoning Board of Appeal, having examined the transcript of the
July 27, 1979, Zoning Board hearing, and having listened to the
testimony and argument.of all parties interested in said matter,
now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE
COUNTY, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the appeal of MAX ROY COCKERHAM be and the same is
hereby denied, and the Monroe County Zoning Board decision of
July 27; 1979, relating to the aforesaid request be and the same is
hereby sustained.
RESOLVED in Regular Meeting at Marathon, Monroe County, Florida
this 4th Day of December A.D., 1979.
