A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRMAN OF THE
BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY,
FLORIDA, TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN
THE OFFICE OF THE MONROE COUNTY TAX COLLECTOR,
THE COUNTY OF MONROE, AND THE STATE OF FLORIDA,
FOR PROVIDING COLLECTION OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENT
FOR GARBAGE AND TRASH COLLECTION.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
That the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners
of Monroe County, Florida, is hereby authorized to execute an
agreement by and between the Office of the Monroe County Tax
Collector, the County of Monroe, and the State of Florida, for
providing collection of special assessment for garbage and trash
collection; a copy of same being attached hereto.
Passes and adopted by the Board of County Commissioners
of Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting held on the
3rd day of January, 1980.

CONTRACT
THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into this 3rd day of
January, A.D., 1980 by and between the County of Monroe, State of
Florida, and the Office of the Monroe County Tax Collector.
The parties to mutually agree as follows:
1. That the Office of the Monroe County Tax Collector
shall fulfill the Collection duties required by the terms of
Monroe County Ordinance No. 10-1977 with reference to the
Collection of the special assessment for garbage and trash
collection and furnish the employees necessary to collect said
assessment, and furnish such information as to said collections
as is necessary for recordation of claims of leins and delinquent
accounts.
2. That the County agrees to pay to the Office of the
Tax Collector the sum of $13,000.00 to cover the cost of said
collection for assessment year 1980. Said payment to be made
on December 1, 1979.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the undersigned in behalf of the
County of Monroe and the Office of the Tax Collector have affixed
their seals this 3rd day of January, A.D., 1980.
