A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HAYOR AND CHAIID-1AN
OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COHMISSIONERS OF MONROE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, TO EXECUTE A RENE1-V'AL AGREENENT
BY AND BE~~EEN THE COUNTY OF MONROE, STATE OF
FLORIDA, AND AVIS BENT A CAR SYSTEM, INC.
BE IT RESOLVED BY TI{E BOARD OF COUNTY CO}~1ISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
That the Mayor and Chairman be authorized to execute a
Renewal Agreement by and between the County of Monroe, State of
Florida, and Avis Rent A Car System, Inc., a copy of same being
attached here to.
Passed and adopted by the Board of County Commissioners
of Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting held on the lIth
day of July, 1978.

RENEWAL AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the County of Monroe, State of Florida, a polit-
ical subdivision of the State of Florida, acting by and through the
Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, (herein-
after referred to as "Board"), and Avis Rent A Car Sys tern, In~.,
a Delaware corporation with offices at 900 Old Country Road,
Garden City, New York (hereinafter referred to as "Lessee"), en-
tered into a lease on the 26th day of February, 1973, and
WHEREAS, the Board desires to renew said agreement for an
additional term of five (5) years,
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants,
promises and premises herein contained, the parties hereto agree
as follows:
1. That the agreement dated February 26, 1973, is hereb,
ratified and approved and made a part hereof.
2. That the parties hereto do hereby agree that said
agreement shall be renewed for an additional five-year (5) period
in accordance with the terms and conditions of the attached agree-
ment. Said renewal term shall begin on the 1st day of June, 1979,
and end on the 31st day of May, 1984.
FURTHER, that all terms and conditions of the attach~d
agreement are hereby made a part of said renewal and each of the
parties shall abide by and comply with same.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this
agreement a~d duplicates thereof to be executed in their respective
names, signed by their respective officers, sealed with their seals
and duly attested, this JJJL~day of
