Resolution 254-1978
RESOLUTION NO. ~~4-1978
WHEREAS, the South Florida C.E.T.A. Consortium has
received funds for the operation of Title Vl Programs under the
Comprehensive Employment and Training Act of 1973, and
WHEREAS, said South Florida C.E.T.A. Consortium has
allocated certain funds to be spent in Monroe County, Florida,
for the operation of said programs, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe
County, Florida, do hereby allocate the following C.E.T.A. Title Vl
funds:
Board of Monroe County Commission, Florida
"Public Service Employment Program"
$586,320.00
District School Board of Monroe County, Florida
"Public Service Employment Program" $184,273.00
City of Key West, Florida
"Public Service Employment Program"
$167,521. 00
Florida Keys Memorial Hospital, Monroe County, Florida
"Public Service Employment Program" $ 33,504.00
and,
WHEREAS, the Board previously passed Resolution No.237-1978,
which resolution the Board does wish to repeal, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
1. That Resolution No. 237-1978 is hereby repealed.
2. That the South Florida C.E.T.A. Consortium allocate
the above funds of $184,273.00 to the District School Board of
Monroe County, Florida and that the District School Board of
Monroe County, Florida, be authorized to contract directly with the
South Florida C.E.T.A. Consortium to implement their program and
$167,521.00 to the City of Key West, Florida, and that the City of
Key West, Florida be authorized to contract directly with the
South Florida C.E.T.A. Consortium to implement their program and
$33,504.00 to the Florida Keys Memorial Hospital, Monroe County,

Florida, and that the Florida Keys Memorial Hospital, Monroe
County, Florida be authorized to contract directly with the South
Florida C.E.T.A. Consortium to implement their program and
$586,320.00 to the Board of Monroe County Commission, Florida.
3. That the Clerk of said board be, and he is hereby
authorized to forward certified copies of this resolution to the
South Florida C.E.T.A. Consortium.
