RESOLUTION NO. 273-1978
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PAYMENT OF TRAVEL EXPENSES
FOR MEMBERS OF THE PROJECT COUNCIL OF THE MONROE
COUNTY TITLE VII NUTRITION PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, Monroe County has received a grant providing for
a Nutrition Program under the Older Americans Act Title VII, and
WHEREAS, the Project Council members serve without com-
pensation, and
WHEP~AS, said Project Council operates throughout Monroe
County and as a result thereof the Project Council members are
required to travel from one end of the County to the other in
order to conduct its business, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
1. That the Project Council members of the Monroe County
Title VII Nutrition Program shall be reimbursed for travel ex-
penses in accordance with Florida Statute 112.061.
2. That said travel reimbursement shall be paid for from
the grant funds received under the Older Americans Act Title VII
and/or the Social Services Department budget.
