RESOLUTION NO.- 185 1980
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE OF TAX
ANTICIPATION WARRANT FOR MUNICIPAL SERVICE
TAXING OR BENEFIT DISTRICT NO, I-C.
WHEREAS, the Baord of County Commissioners of Monroe
County, Florida , desire to borrow the sum of$14Q,OOO.OO before
the end of the year 1980, and to repay said loan out of antici-
pted tax receipts to be received by said County from the tax
revenue on taxable property in Municipal Service Taxing or
Benefit District No, 1-C for the years 1980-81 and 1981-82,
and,
WHEREAS,
BOULEVARD BANK
has agreed to loan said money to said Board of County Commis-
sioners for the years in the Municipal Service Taxing or Benefit
District as set forth above, now, therfore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
1. That the sum of $140,000.00 with interest thereon at
the rate of 6,20% per annum from date until fully paid, be, and
the same 1S hereby authorized to be borrowed from
BOULEVARD BANK
, a banking corporation existing
under the laws of the State of Florida, as same is needed for the
purchase of emergency service vehicles before the end of fisca1y
year 1979-80, and the Monroe County Tax Collector be, and he is
hereby authorized to pay to the said
BOULEVARD BANK

from the proceeds of taxes levied by the County of Monroe, State
of Florida, on all taxable property in said Municipal Service
Taxing or Benefit District No, l-C for the years 1980-81 and
1981-82, for the use and benefit of said Municipal Service
Taxing or Benefit District No, l-C when said taxes have been
collected and received by said Tax Collector in an amount
sufficient to repay the principal sum of $140,000,00 and any
interest that may be due thereon if said sum is borrowed,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that the Board of
County Commissoners of Monroe County, Florida, be and it is

hereby authorized to issue a Tax Anticipation Warrant, payable
to said
BOULEVARD BANK
, ln the amount of
$140,000,00 with the interest thereon at the rate of 6.20%
per annum from date until fully paid, payable out of anticipated
tax proceeds as hereinbefore set forth, and the Chairman and
Clerk of said County of Monroe, State of Florida, be, and they
are hereby authorized to execute said Tax Anticipation Warrant
and to deliver same to the

upon the receipt of the sum of $140,000,00 by said County,

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That the County of Monroe,
State of Florida, a political subdivision of the State of
Florida, will pay
BOULEVARD BANK
, a banking
corporation existing under the laws of the United States, on or
before the
day of

offices in the City of Kpy WP~t , County of Monroe, State of
Florida, the sum of One-Hundred and Forty Thousand Dollars
($140,000.00), with interest thereon at the rate of 6.20% per
annum from date hereof until fully paid.
Principal hereof and interest thereon will be paid in law-
ful money of the United States of America from the first proceeds
of taxes when received, which will be levied by the County of
Monroe, State of Florida, on all taxable property in Municipal
Service Taxing or Benefit District No, 1-C, Monroe County, Florida,
for the fiscal years 1980-81 and 1981-82, for the use and benefit
of said Municipal Service Taxing or Benefit District No.1-C.

This Warrant is issued in anticipation of said taxes so
levied for the fiscal years 1980-81 and 1981-82 for the use
and benefit of Municipal Service Taxing or Benefit District No, 1-C,
Monroe County, Florida, to provide a fund to purchase emergency
vehicles and is payable, both principal and interest, solely
from said taxes when collected, and not otherwise, which taxes
are hereby assigned and pledged to the payment of this Warrant,
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the County of Monroe, State of Florida,
has issued this Warrant and has caused same to be signed by its
Chairman and attested to by its Clerk as of the 29th day of
July
