RESOLUTION NO. 223 - 1980
RESOLUTION CERTIFYING AUDIT COST.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Florida Statutes, Section 11.45,
the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, did
engage the independent Certified Public Accountant's, Deloitte,
Haskins & Sells, to perform the audit for Fiscal Year 1978-79,
and,
WHEREAS, Deloitte, Haskins & Sells have now completed
said audit, and,
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe
County, Florida, have accepted said audit, and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to the contract dated April 8, 1980
the County agreed to pay the sum of Twenty Three Thousand Dollars
C$4S,8?2.50) for said audit report, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
1. That the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe
County, Florida, does hereby request that the Department of
Community Affairs reimburse the County the sum of Twenty Three
Thousand Dollars C$48~872.50) for the cost incurred in having
audits required by Section 11.45, F.S., made by an independent
certified public accountant with respect to the 1978-79 fiscal year.
2. Further, the County does hereby certify that the sum
requested represents costs that are reasonable and lawfully incurred
in conformance with Chapter 79-589, Laws of Florida CSB l80-C) in
the best judgment of its governing body.
3. That the Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners
of Monroe County, Florida, is hereby directed to forward a certified
copy of this resolution to the Department of Community Affairs and
such other appropriate officials.
