RESOLUTION UPHOLDING THE DECISION OF THE ZONING BOARD
OF ADJUSTMENT DENYING THE REQUEST. -OF SNAPPER -CREEK
TRADING CENTER, INC. TO REVERSE THE DECISION OF THE
ZONING BOARD APPROVING A ROLL BACK, INITIATED BY
THE MONROE COUNTY PLANNING & ZONING DEPARTMENT, FOR
THE PROPOSED REZONING FROM BU-2 TO RU-1 ON LOTS 41 55,
6, AND THE NE 150 FEET OF LOT 22, SEASIDE SUBDIVISION,
KEY LARGO..FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the Monroe County Zoning Board of Adjustment on
January 24, 1980, approved the request of the Monroe County
Planning and Zoning Department for a roll back for the proposed
rezoning from BU-2 to RU-1 on Lots 4, 5, 6, and the NE 150 feet
of Lot 22, Seaside Subdivision, Key Key Largo, Florida, on the.
following described property:
Lots 4, 551 6 and the NE 150 feet of Lot 22, Block 1,
of Seaside Sub'd, as recorded in Plat Book 1, Page 97
and located in Section 14, Township 62 South, Range 38
East, Key Largo.
WHEREAS, the said Snapper Creek Trading Center, Inc. having, -
duly appealed said decision to the Board of County Commissioners
of Monroe County, Florida, sitting as the Board of Appeals, and
the Board having reviewed the transcript of January 24, 1980
hearing, having considered the argument of all parties present
wishing to speak on the matter, and all premises considered, now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, sitting as the BOARD OF APPEALS, as follows:
1. That the decision of the Monroe County Zoning Board of
Adjustment of January 24, 1980, regarding a roll back for a
proposed rezoning to RU-1 on Lots 4, 5, 6 and the NE 150 feet of
Lot 227 Block 1 of Seaside Subdivision, Key largo, Florida for
Monroe County Planning and Zoning Department be, and the same is
hereby upheld.

2. That the said Snapper Creek Trading Center, Inc. be and
it is hereby denied a reversement of the decision of the Zoning
Board of Adjustment approving a rollback from BU-2 to RU-1 on
Lots 4, 5, 6, and the NE 150 feet of Lot 22, Block I of Seaside
Subdivision, Key Largo, Florida on the above described property.
RESOLVED in regular session of the Board of County Commissioners
of Monroe County, Florida, at Planation Key, Monroe County, Florida,
this lith day of September, 1980.
