RESOLUTION REQUESTING ALL COUNTY. AND, GOVERNMENTAL:AGENCIES
TO POST A NOTICE IN EACH TRUCK SHOWING VERTICAL CLEARANCE
OF THE SEVEN MILE BRIDGE.
WHEREAS, there.did occur an accident ..at the Seven. Mile Bridge
at.the draw bridge span, .and
WHEREAS, the accident which -;occurred was as a result of::l.a
truck hauling certain articles'" which were in, excess o.f.the vertical
limitations of' -the draw bridge span,;now., therefore;,
..:BE IT RESOLVED.BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS..OF MONROE
COUNTY, FLORIDA,..as follows
1. It_is'hereby requested, -.that all. County and other governmental
agencies located in Monroe County post.a notice in each truck showing
the vertical- clearance of the Seven Mile Bridge in order.to eliminate
any future..accidents at -the draw bridge, span.
2. That -,the -Clerk of the Board is Hereby directed to forward.
a.,copy of ..this -resolution to each of the governmental :agencies of
Monroe County, Florida.
Passed and -adopted by the Board of County Commissioners of
-Monroe County,-Flo.rida, at a regular meeting held on the 10th-.day
