RESOLUTION NO. 33 -1978
RESOLUTION EXPRESSING GRATITUDE FOR GIFT OF
PORTRAIT OF PRESIDENT CARTER BY FRED A. PHILLIPS
WHEREAS, Fred A. Phillips has presented a portrait of
President Carter to the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe
County, Florida, to be hung at the sub-courthouse lobby area
at Plantation Key, Monroe County, Florida, and
1~HEREAS, said Board accepted the portrait on behalf of
Monroe County, Florida, and
WHEREAS, said Board desires, on behalf of the citizens
and residents of Monroe County, Florida, to go on record expres-
sing appreciation and gratitude for said gift, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that said Board, on behalf of ~he citizens
and residents of Monroe County, Florida, hereby expresses apprecia-
tion and gratitude for the portrait of President Carter donated
by Fred A. Phillips.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that a certified copy
of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. Phillips by the Clerk of
said Board.
