RESOLUTION NO. 55-1978
WHEREAS, the District School Board of Monroe County, Florida,
has advised the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida,
that they are in danger of losing workman's compensation insurance coverage
for al I employees and/or trainees under the C.E.T.A. program, and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest that said employees and/or
trainees have Florida workman's compensation insurance coverage, now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COM~~ISSIONERS OF MONROE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, that said Boar'd does hereby request as follows:
I. That the South Florida C.E.T.A Consortium take immediate
action to provide the necessary workman's compensation insurance coverage
for al I C.E.T.A. employees and/or trainees employed by the District School
Board of Monroe County, Florida, to assure that said employees and/or
trainees have workman's compensation insurance coverage at al I times.
2. That the Board would further request that the South
Florida C.E.T.A. Consortium provide workman's compensation insurance
coverage for ~ C.E.T.A. employees and/or trainees in Monroe County,
Florida, to insure that in the future al I C.E.T.A. employees and/or
trainees are provided coverage without further threat of loss of said
coverage due to rules and/or regulations of companies providing Florida
workman's compensation insurance.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SA I D BOARD that the Clerk of sa i d
Board be, and he is hereby directed to send a certified copy of this
Resolution to the South Florida C.E.T.A. Consortium, the State and Federal
