OF MON OE. COUNTY TO CONT??ACT DIRECTLY TJITH THE
SOUTH FLORIDA CETA CONSORTIUM FOB, THE CETA TITLE
III .SUMUNER TEEN. Ei-TLOYMENT PROGRAM.
i,MEREAS,:the South Florida CETA Consortium has received
funds for the oneration.of a Summer Teen Employment Program under
the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act of 1973, and
IHEREAS, said -South Florida CETA Consortium has allocated'
certain funds to be spent in Monroe County, Florida, for the
-operation of a Summer Teen Employment Program,. and
`-,TREREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe
County, Florida, has allocated to the District School Board of
ilonroe County the sum of $225,149.00, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COlq-=SIONERS OF
MONR.OE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the South Florida CETA Consortium
allocate the above funds to the District School Board of 11onroe
County and that .said body be authorized .to contract directly with
the.South Florida CETA Consortium to implement the Summer Teen
Einployment Pros ram.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that the Clerk of
said Board -'be, and he is hereby authorized toforwardcertified
copies of this resolution to the.South Florida CETA Consortium.
