A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CHAIRMAN
OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT BY AND
BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF MONROE, STATE OF FLORIDA,
AND ROBERT WOOD.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
That the Mayor and Chairman be authorized to execute an
Agreement by and between the County of Monroe, State of Florida,
and Robert Wood, a copy of same being attached hereto.
Passed and adopted by the Board of County Commissioners
of Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting held on the
16th day of May, 1978.

A G R E E M E N T
THIS AGREEMENT, made this 16th day of May , 1978, by
and between the COUNTY OF MONROE, STATE OF FLORIDA, a political
subdivision of the State of Florida, hereinafter called the
party of the first part, and ROBERT WOOD, Post Office Box 281,.
Tavernier, Florida, hereinafter called the party of the second
part,.
WITNESSETH, that the parties hereto for the considera-
tion hereinafter named agree as follows:
1. That the party of'the second part shall pick up and
dispose of all abandoned or junked automobiles on public property
or any public road or road right-of-way'as designated by the
Monroe County Zoning Director or other appropriate County official
within the area in Monroe County from the Eastern end of the
Seven Mile Bridge to the Dade -Monroe County boundary.
2. That the party of the second part further agrees to
pick up all junk metal from all County dump sites as'requested
by the Municipal Service District Director or other appropriate
personnel within the total County of Monroe.
3. Party of the second part agrees to accomplish re-
moval and disposal of cars and junk metal as set forth above.
4. The party.of the second part hereby agrees to hold
the County harmless from any claims or damages -whatsoever arising
out of the activities contemplated hereunder.
5. The party of the first part shall allow the party
of the second part to store cars or .junk metal in areas to be
designated by the Monroe County Public Works Denartment.of the
party of the first part.

1980. This con__act may be cancelled after six (6) months by
either party hereto by givin? ten (10) days notice in writing of
its intention to cancel.
