RESOLUTION NO. 81 -1976
vlliEREAS, the Card Sound Road and Bridge are badly in
need of continuing routine maintenance and repairs, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe
County, Florida, desires to use employees of the Road Division
of the Monroe County Public Works Department to provide routine
maintenance and to furnish materials, as well as equipment to
be used in maintaining said road, and
WHEPEAS, said Board intends to reimburse itself out of
Bridge Funds for any monies expended out of the County Road De-
partment funds, said reimbursement to be placed in the Monroe
County Road and Bridge Fund, now, therefore,
BE IT P~SOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
1. That the Director of the Monroe County Public Works
Department be, and he is hereby authorized to use County Road
Division employees in providing the necessary routine maintenance
and repairs to the Card Sound Road and Bridge and to keep accurate
records of the amount of time said emnloyees work on said Bridge,
and number of hours that County equipment has been used on said
project for work authorized in advance by work order from the Card
Sound Bridge Manager.
2, That the Director of the Monroe County Public Works
Department is to furnish the County Clerk monthly bills and a
log of time, materials, and equipment used, and upon receipt of
said monthly statement, the Clerk of said Board shall bill the
amount in accordance with the Bond Indenture (County Resolution
54-1967) requirements, said amount being reimbursed from Bridge
funds, and said reimbursement being placed in the Monroe County
Road and Bridge Fund.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that the Trustees
of the Card Sound Road and Bridge Bonds shall approve the fore-
going prior to any work being done under this resolution.

BE IT ALSO FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that Resolution
No, 43-1976 be and the same is hereby rescinded and of no force
and effect.
