RESOLUTION NO. 106 -1976
WHEREAS, the Manpower Planning Consortium for Dade and Monroe
Counties has received funds for the operation of a Summer Teen
Employment Program under the Comprehensive Employment and Training
Act of 1973, and
WHEREAS, said Manpower Planning Consortium has allocated
certain funds to be spent in Monroe County, Florida, for the operation
of a Summer Teen Employment Program, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida, has allocated to the Board of Public Instruction of Monroe
County, Florida, the sum of $176,513.00, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Manpower Planning Consortium for
Dade and Monroe Counties allocate the above funds to the Board of
Public Instruction of Monroe County, Florida, and that said body be
authorized to contract directly with the Manpower Planning Consortium
for Dade and Monroe Counties to implement the Summer Teen Employment
Program.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that the Clerk of
said Board be, and he is hereby authorized to forward certified copies
of this resolution to the Manpower Planning Consortium of Dade and
Monroe Counties.
