RESOLUTION NO. 108 - 1976
RESOLUTION REQUESTING HEALTH SYSTEMS AGENCY TO
CONDUCT STUDY OF GUIDANCE CLINICS TO DETERMINE
WHETHER ECONOMY IN ADMINISTRATION MAY BE
REALIZED THROUGH CONSOLIDATION
WHEREAS, the HEALTH SYSTEMS AGENCY has agreed to conduct
studies in behalf of the BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE
COUNTY, FLORIDA into areas of health planning as may be deemed
necessary and advisable by the Board and,
WHEREAS, savings in taxpayers' funds may be possible
through administrative consolidation of the three Guidance Clinics,
now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA that the Health Systems Agency be and are
hereby requested to conduct a study of the Guidance Clinics of
the Florida Keys toward the end that recommendations to the
Board be made concerning the feasibility of consolidating the
administration and budgetary affairs of the clinics under one
administration.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said study be conducted
pursuant to the Procedures of Health Systems Review of Requests
for Assistance to Personal Service Programs and that a copy of
this resolution be furnished to the three Guidance Clinics with
request that they work closely with the Health Systems Agency
in the conduct of the review.
