RESOLUTION NO.1l2 -1976
RESOLUTION ADOPTING "PROCEDURES OF HEALTH SYSTEMS
REVIEW OF REQUESTS FOR ASSISTANCE TO PERSONAL SER-
VICE PROGRAHS"
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe
County, Florida, receive many requests for financial or in-kind
assistance from various non-profit associations, persons and
corporations who provide personal services to citizens of Monroe
County, and
'iVHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have entered
into an agreement with the Health Systems Agency formerly the
11onroe County Comprehensive Health Planning Council, Inc., whereby
the Agency will conduct studies and make recommendations to the
Board concerning the health needs of the citizens of Honroe
County, and
\'!HEREAS, the Agency after much deliberation has adopted
on April 14, 1976, a procedures manual to be used by the Agency
in the conduct of all reviews requested of them by the Board, and
WHEREAS, the Board is desirous of authorizing the Agency
to conduct its reviews in accordance with the procedures promul-
gated by the Agency, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the manual prepared and approved by
the Health Systems Agency on April 14, 1976, titled "Procedures
for Health Systems Agency Review of Requests for Assistance to
Personal Service Programs" be and the same is hereby adopted and
approved by the Board and all reviews requested by the Board of the
Agency shall be conducted in accordance with the procedures set
forth therein.
BE IT FURTHER P~SOLVED BY SAID BOARD that a copy of this
resolution be furnished to the Health Systems Agency.
