RESOLUTION NO. 125-1976
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Monroe County, Florida, at
a public hearing on May 28, 1976, duly called and held in accord-
ance with the zoning regulations of Monroe County, Florida, and
the laws of the State of Florida, considered the request of
Dr. Charles T. Bush, DVM, for a special use permit on property
described as a parcel of land located in Section 29, Township 66
South, Range 29 East, being the Easterly 100 feet adjoining the
Easterly 350 feet from the corner of Coral Avenue and State Road
4-A (Ramrod Key), currently zoned BU-l to operate a Veterinarian
Clinic in a BU-l Zone, and
WHEREAS, after hearing all persons to be heard, said Board
granted the request for the special use permit, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Kermit H. Lewin, Director of Planning and
Zoning, filed an appeal with- the Board of County Commissioners
of Monroe County, Florida, acting as the Board of Appeals asking
the Board to reverse the decision of the Zoning Board, in accordance
with the laws applicable thereto, and
WHEREAS, on the 27th day of July, 1976, the Board of
County Commissioners acting as the Board of Appeals held such
appeal, and after reviewing the record and proceedings and said
action taken at said public hearing on May 28, 1976, and taking
testimony and hearing all persons desiring to be heard, voted to
deny the appeal and to uphold the decision of.the Zoning Board
in granting the request for a special use permit allowing the
operation of a Veterinarian Clinic in a BU-l Zone, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to pass a resolution confirming
the above action of said Board of County Commissioners acting as
the Board of Appeals, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, ACTING AS THE BOARD OF APPEALS, that the
decision of the Zoning Board made at the public hearing on May 28,
1976, granting the request of Dr. Charles T. Bush, DVM, for a

special use permit on property described as a parcel of land
located in Section 29, Township 66 South, Range 29 East, being the
Easterly 100 feet adjoining the Easterly 350 feet from the corner
of Coral Avenue and State Road 4-A (Ramrod Key), currently zoned
BU-l to operate a Veterinarian Clinic in said BU-l Zone, is hereby
upheld and the appeal denied.
