Resolution 130-1976 RESOLUTION NO. 130-1976 WHEREAS, the Board of Adjustment of Monroe County, Florida, at a public hearing held on April 9, 1976, duly called and held in accordance with the zoning regulations of Monroe County, Florida, and the laws of the State of Florida, considered the request of Mr. Henry Holbrook for a dimensional variance to build within 6 feet from a canal on Lot 6, Block 3 of Sti11wright Point, Plat No.2, located in Government Lot 2, Section 1, and Government Lot 1, Section 2, all located in Township 61 South, Range 39 East (Key Largo), and WHEREAS, after hearing all persons to be heard, said Board denied the request for the dimensional variance, and WHEREAS, Mr. Henry Holbrook filed an appeal with the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, acting as the Board of Appeals, asking the Board to reverse the decision of the Board of Adjustment in accordance with the laws applicable thereto, ~d WHEREAS, on the 20th day of July, 1976, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, acting as the Board of Appeals held such appeal, and after reviewing the record and proceedings and said action taken at said public hearing on April 9, 1976, and taking testimony and hearing all persons desiring to be heard, voted to reverse the decision of the Board of Adjustment and grant the dimensional variance, and WHEREAS, it is necessary to pass a resolution confirming the above action of said Board of County Commissioners acting as the Board of Appeals, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, ACTING AS THE BOARD OF APPEALS, that the decision of the Board of Adjustment made at the public hearing on April 9, 1976, denying the request of Mr. Henry Holbrook for a dimensional variance to build within 6 feet from a canal on Lot 6, -2- Block 3 of Sti11wright Point, Plat No.2, located in Government Lot 2, Section 1, and Government Lot 1, Section 2, all located in Township 61 South, Range 39 East (Key Largo), is hereby reversed and the said Mr. Henry Holbrook is hereby granted a dimensional variance on the above described property.
