RESOLUTION NO. 176_1976
RESOLUTION FIXING AMOUNTS TO BE CHARGED BY
CLERK FOR MAKING AND CERTIFYING COPIES OF
COUNTY COMMISSION RECORDS.
The Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners having
recommended that a standard schedule of fees be established for
services rendered in connection with making, furnishing and certi-
fying copies of minutes, ordinances, resolutions and public records
of the County Commission, commensurate with the actual cost of such
services. In consideration of such recommendation and the schedule
of fees submitted by the Clerk,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Clerk of this Board be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to charge, collect and receive for
services rendered in connection with making, furnishing and certi-
fying copies of the official records of the Board of County Commis-
sioners, including copies of minutes of meetings of the Board of
County Commissioners, excerpts or portions of such minutes, resolu-
tions, ordinances, or other official county documents or instruments,
the following fees, namely:
1. For copying, making and providing each page,
or fraction thereof, whether original or
carbon copy, of any county records, except
ordinances, a charge of $.15 per page shall
be made.
2. For certification or verification, and
affixing certificate of Clerk, a charge of
$.50 per certificate shall be made.
3. Copies of all ordinances adopted and passed
shall be furnished at the rate of $.05 per
page, provided, however, that the maximum
charge made for each complete ordinance
shall not exceed the sum of $3.00, including
certificate of Clerk; except that this
schedule of fees shall not apply to Building
Codes adopted by ordinance, the Comprehensive
Zoning Ordinance and any codification of
County Ordinances.

4. The adoption of this schedule of fees shall
not be construed to prevent the Board of
County Commissioners from fixing the fees to
be charged for any particular ordinance
hereafter adopted and passed.
5. Copies of Resolutions in connection with
zoning matters may be furnished to the
applicant or applicants initiating such
zoning matter, without charge. Copies of
Resolutions also may be furnished, without
charge, to persons named in or directly in-
volved therein. The Clerk shall furnish
copies of Resolutions and Ordinances to
municipalities, county departments or officials,
and other governmental agencies, without charge.
