Resolution 063-1977 RESOLUTION NO. 63 -1977 RESOLUTION DESIGNATING MONROE COUNTY AS AN AREA OF COMMERCIAL FISHING CONCERN WHEREAS, one of the major economic industries of Monroe County, Florida, is its fishing industry, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, desires to set forth its support of the fishing industry in Monroe County, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows: 1. That the Board of County Commissioners does hereby designate Monroe County as an area of commercial fishing concern. 2. That said Board does hereby request support from all local, State and Federal agencies to assure the continued expansion and operation of the fishing industry within Monroe County. 3. That copies of said resolution shall be forwarded to the Governor of the State of Florida, the House of Represen- tatives and the Senate of the State of Florida, and the Monroe County legislative delegation.
