Resolution 219-1976RESOLUTION 'NO. 219 - 1976 RESOLUTION REQUIRING COUNTY ATTORNEY TO NOTIFY ALL ADJACENT PROPERTY OWNERS OF PROPOSED ABANDONMENT OF PUBLIC ROAD. WHEREAS, the Board of.County Commissioners of Monroe County., Florida believes that written notice to adjacent property owners should be notified of any proposed abandonment of a public street or road prior to abandonment by the County and that said written notice should be in addition to any public notice given by newspaper publication, now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA that in all cases whereby it is proposed that the Board abandon a public street or roadway that, in addition to a public notice in the newspaper, that the County Attorney send notice to all adjacent property owners adjacent to the road by mail at the last known address shown by the Property Appraiser's records of the proposed abandonment and the date of the public hearing of same and that they may attend said public hearing and comment on said proposed abandonment.
