WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County
Florida has authorized the submittal of an application to obtain
Federal Funds under the 1977 Community Development Block Grant
Program with the Department of Housing and Urban Development;
WHEREAS, it is necessary to designate an agency to prepare
and to administer the program to be applied for;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of County
Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, hereby designates the
Monroe County Housing Authority to prepare and to administer
the Community Development Block Grant Program referred to herein
in accordance with all Federal, State and local laws, and in
accordance with all assurances extended to the United States
Department of Housing and Urban Development by the Board of
County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Chairman be authorized and
directed to execute the agreement presented to the Board by the
Monroe County Housing Authority for the performance of the ser-
vices requested therein for professional planning, management
and administrative services in connection with the 1977
Community Development Block Grant Program.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 28th day of December, 1976.
