Resolution 025-1967L� RESOLUTION NO. 25 -1967 SECONDARY ROADS WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida that it is unsafe for school children to cross Flagler Avenue, between 13th and 14th Streets, due to the traffic on said Flagler Avenue, which is a secondary road in Key West, Monroe County, Florida, and WHEREAS, said Board desires to place a pedestrian -operated traffic light between 13th and 14th Streets, on Flagler Avenue, in order that school children may safely cross said street, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD'OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the State Road Department be, and it is hereby authorized to place a pedestrian -operated traffic light on Flagler Avenue, between 13th and 14th Streets, in the City of Key West, Florida, and to pay for the cost of same out of Monroe County, Florida Secondary Road Funds. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD, that the Clerk of said Board be, and he is hereby authorized to forward certified copies of this Resolution to the State Road Department, for appropriate action.
