RESOLUTION NO.
8 ...1972 - SECONDARY ROADS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida has previously authorized construction and drainage of Kennedy
Drive, Key West, Florida. under Monroe County, Florida Secondary Road
Projects, and
WHEREAS, said Board has been advised by the Contractor on said
job that a drainage problem has arisen on said job which could be corrected
with aluminum piping at an approximate cost of Ninety-five Thousand Dollars
($95,000.00). now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Department of Transportation
of the State of Florida, be and it is hereby requested to authorize a Change
Order in the amount of Ninety-five Thousand Dollars ($95,000.00) to take
care of the drainage problem which has arisen on Kennedy Drive, Key West,
Florida, under Monroe County, Florida Secondary Road Projects.
BE IT FUR THER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that the Clerk of
said Board be and he is hereby directed to forward certified copie s of this
Resolution to the Department of Transporation of the State of Florida for
appropriate action.
