SECONDARY ROADS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida has previously authorized the State Road Department of the State
of Florida to allocate and expend certain sums out of Monroe County
State Road funds to rehabilitate and clean roads and rights-of-way ren-
dered impassable by the recent hurricane, and
WHEREAS, the Trustees of the Internal Improvement Fund of the
State of Florida have advanced $50, 000.00 to Monroe County, Florida,
which said sum is to be reimbursed out of Monroe County State Road
fund s, and
WHEREAS, there is at present owing to Monroe County, Florida
from Civil Defense Funds which have already been approved the amount
of $211, lOa. 55, and
WHEREAS, Monroe County, Florida desires to have the Trustees
of the Internal Improvement Fund of the State of Florida advance an ad-
ditional $50,000.00, which said sum will be paid, along with other funds
advanced, out of Monroe County State Road funds or funds received from
the Civil Defense program as set forth above, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Trustees of the Internal 'Im-
provement Fund of the State of Florida be, and they are hereby requested
to advance the sum of $50,000.00 to Monroe County, Florida, which sum
is to be reimbursed out of Monroe County State Road funds or out of the
sum of $211, lOa. 55 to be received from the Civil Defense, and which has
already been approved by the Civil Defense.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that the State Road
Department of the State of Florida be, and it is hereby authorized to re-
imburse the Trustees of the Internal Improvement Fund of the State of
Florida any sums advanced by said Trustees to Monroe County, Florida,
out of Monroe County State Road funds, if same are not paid by said
County out of funds received from the Civil Defense.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of said Board be,
and he is hereby directed to foward certified copies of this Resolution
to the Trustees of the Internal Improvement Fund of the State of Florida
and the State Road Department of the State of Florida for appropriate
action.
