RESOLUTION NO.
16 -196l _ SECONDARY ROADS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida considers it an emergnncy measure to replace the bridge lead-
ing to the City of Key Colony Beach on Key Colony Causeway, which
said road is a secondary road, and
WHEREAS, it is the only arterial highway leading into said City,
and it is necessary to take immediate steps to replace the present
damaged bridge, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the State Road Department be,
and it is hereby requested, as an emergency measure, to immediately
construct a concrete bridge on the road connecting the City of Key
Colony Beach with U. S. Highway #l, and to pay for the cost of con-
structing said bridge out of Monroe County, Florida secondary road funds.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that the Clerk of
said Board be, and he is hereby directed to forward certified copies
of thi s Resolution to the State Road Departm ent of the State of Florida
for appropriate action.
