RESOLUTION NO. 17 -1961 - SECONDARY ROADS
WHEREAS., the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe
County, Florida has previously authorized the State Road Depart-
ment 01 Florida to construct an extension of Simonton Street in the
City of Key West, Florida, for a distance of 1000 feet out into the
Atlantic Ocean, including an appropriate turn-off, and
WHEREAS, said Board now desires that said extension be
constructed for a distance of 1500 feet, instead of 1000 feet as pre-
viously authorized, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMIS-
SIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the State Road
Department of Florida be, and it is hereby authorized to construct
the previously authorized extension of Simonton Street in the City
of Key West, Florida, for a distance of 1500 feet out into the At-
lantic Ocean, instead of 1000 feet as previously authorized.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the said Board that the Clerk
of said Board be, and he is hereby authorized to forward certified
copies of this Resolution to the State Road Department for appro-
priate action.
