RESOLUTION NO.
18 -1962
SECONDARY ROADS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida has previously authorized the State Road Department to construct
a road on Parrish Avenue in Marathon, Key Vaca, Monroe County, Florida,
and the extension of said Parrish Avenue, and
WHEREAS, Monroe County, Florida has only a dedicated road of
approximately 20 feet in width covering the right of way on said extension,
which said right of way has various encroachments on same, now, there-
fore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the State Road Department be, and
it is hereby authorized to delete from that project known as Section 90560 -
Parrish Avenue in Marathon on Key Vaca, the extension of said Parrish
Avenue, and to proceed with the construction of only Parrish Avenue.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that the Clerk of said
Board be, and he is hereby authorized to forward certified copies of this
Resolution to the State Road Department for appropriate action.
