Resolution 016-1963 RESOLUTION NO. 16_1963 SECONDAR Y ROADS WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida has previously authorized the paving of the Key Colony Beach Causeway, a designated Secondary Road, in the 1963 Secondary Road Budget for Monroe County, Florida, and WHEREAS, the property owners adjacent to said Key Colony Beach Causeway have informed said Board that they intend to pave their private parking areas adjacent to said causeway, and WHEREAS, there exists between the present actual roadway and the property line of the adjacent properties a gap of approximately 12 to 15 feet, where water collects, and WHEREAS, said Board deems it desirable to extend the paving of said roadway from the present actual road location to the property line on the East side of said road, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLYED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the State Road Department be, and it is hereby authorized to include in the project of paving the Key Colony Beach Causeway, an additional strip of paving, so that the pavement of said road shall extend from the present location of said roadway to the property line on the East side of said road, and to pay for the cost of such additional paving out of Monroe County, Florida Secondary Road Funds. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that the Clerk of said Board be, and he is hereby authorized to forward certified copies of this Resolution to the State Road Department for appropriate action.
