RESOLUTION NO. 19 -1963
SECONDAR Y ROADS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida has previously authorized the State Road Department of the State
of Florida to four -lane Flagler A venue from First Street to Roosevelt
Boulevard in the City of Key West, Florida, and
WHEREAS, said Board desires that said four-laning project include
the placing of a center line divider and necessary curbing, and the planting
of trees, shrubs, etc., in said center line divider, and
WHEREAS, said Board desires that such additional work be included
ln said project as an emergency measure, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the State Road Department be, and
it is hereby authorized to include in the project of four-laning Flagler Ave-
nue from First Street to Roosevelt Boulevard in the City of Key West,
Florida, the placing of a center line divider and the necessary curbing, and
the planting of trees, shrubs, etc., in said center line divider, and to pay
for the cost of same out of Monroe County, Florida Secondary Road Funds.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that the Clerk of said
Board be, and he is hereby authorized to forward certified copies of this
Resolution to the State Road Department for appropriate action.
