RESOLUTION NO. 26 -1963
SECONDARY ROADS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida, deems it an emergency measure, in the interests of the public
welfare and safety, to have cros s -overs placed on U. S. Highway No. 1 on
Windley Key, Monroe County, Florida, in front of the Tropical Winds Motel
and the Bell Motel, connecting Old State Road 4-A with said U. S. Highway
No.1, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the State Road Department be, and
it is hereby authorized to place cross -overs on U. S. Highway No. 1 and Old
State Road 4-A, on Windley Key, Monroe County, Florida, in front of the
Tropical Winds Motel and the Bell Motel, and to pay for the cost of same
out of Monroe County, Florida Secondary Road Funds.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that the Clerk of said
Board be, and he is hereby authorized to forward certified copies of this
Resolution to the State Road Department for appropriate action.
