Resolution 027-1963 RESOLUTION NO. 27-1963 SECONDAR Y ROADS WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida desires to pave certain portions of the right-of-way in front of the Post Office at Islamorada, Florida, and to mark said area for parking pur- poses, and deems said work to be an emergency measure due to the pre- sent condition of said area, and for the public safety and welfare of the citizens of Monroe County, Florida, and WHEREAS, said Board desires to pay for the cost of said work out of Monroe County, Florida Secondary Road Funds, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the State Road Department be, and it is hereby authorized to pave the right-of-way in front of the Post Office at Islamorada, Florida, and to mark said area with painted strips for parking purposes, and to pay for the cost of said work out of Monroe County, Florida Secondary Road Funds. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that the Clerk of said Board be, and he is hereby authorized to forward certified copies of this Resolution to the State Road Department for appropriate action.
