Resolution 046-1964 RESOLUTION NO. 46 -1964 SECONDAR Y ROADS WHEREAS, Monroe and Dade Counties are contemplating the con- struction of a road connecting the islands known as Islandia to Monroe County and to the mainland in Dade County, and WHEREAS, it has become desirable to have prepared a feasibility report as to methods of financing, etc., of said project, as particularly set forth and provided for in letter from Wilbur Smith and Associates, Consulting Engineers, signed by Paul E. Conrad, dated September II, 1964, addressed to the Honorable Chuck Hall, Mayor, Dade County Commission, and the Honorable Gerald Saunders, Chairman, Monroe County Commission, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVE.D BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the State Road Department be, and it is hereby authorized to expend up to $20,000.00 out of Monroe County, Florida Secondary Road Funds to defray Monroe Countyts portion of the cost of such a feasibility report, such report to be prepared by the said Wilbur Smith and Associates, Consulting Engineers. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that the Clerk of said Board be, and he is hereby authorized to forward certified copies of this Resolution to the State Road Department for appropriate action.
