RESOLUTION NO. 55 -1964
SECONDAR Y ROADS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida, at a meeting held on March 10, 1964, adopted the County R esolu-
tion on Use of 80% Seventh Cent Gas Tax and Other Secondary Road Funds,
setting forth the projects to be constructed out of Secondary Road Funds
for the year 1964-65, and
WHEREAS, at the time of the adoption of the said Resolution, it was
the intention of said Board to include an additional project in said program
for the year 1964-65, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the County Resolution on Use of
80% Seventh Cent Gas Tax and Other Secondary Road Funds, adopted by
said Board on March 10, 1964, be, and the same is hereby amended to in-
elude the following additional project:
Construction of Road from Middle Torch Key to Big Torch
Key, and then through Big Torch Key to the Southeast cor-
ner of Rainbow Beach Estates, Plat Book 1, page 164, then
Northerly along 5th Avenue, then Westerly along Division
Street to 1st Avenue, then Southerly down First Avenue to
Torch Key Channel,
and that the State Road Department be, and it is hereby authorized to con-
struct said additional project out of Monroe County, Florida Secondary Road
Funds.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that the Clerk of said
Board be, and he is hereby authorized to forward certified copies of this
Resolution to the State Road Department for appropriate action.
