RESOLUTION NO.
11-1965
SECONDARY ROADS
~
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida desires to issue bonds, payable out of Monroe County, Florida
Secondary Road Funds, to finance the construction of secondary road pro-
jects in said County, and this Resolution is an expression of said desire
and said Boardts intention, and
WHEREAS, said Board deems it in the best interests of the citizens
of said County and for the public welfare and convenience of said citbens,
to issue said bonds to construct said projects, and
WHEREAS, said Board, by Resolution No. 7-1965, Secondary Roads,
dated March 23rd, 1965, previously requested the State Road Department
to issue said bonds in accordance with attached schedule furnished by said
State Road Department, and
WHEREAS, said Board now desires to request the State Road Depart-
ment to approve the list of projects, their priorities and estimated cost, as
shown on the attached list, and to request said State Road Department to
prepare the initiating Resolution for adoption by said Board, now, therdore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF MONROE COUNTY J FLORIDA, that the Stat.e Road Department be, and
it is hereby requested to approve the list of projects, their priorities and
estimated cost, as shown on the attached list of Monroe County Secondary
Gas Tax Bond Issue Projects, and to prepare the initiating Resolution for
adoption by said Board of County Commissioners.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that the Clerk of said
Board be, and he is hereby authorized to forward certified copies of this
Resolution to the State Road Department for appropriate action.
