SECONDARY ROADS
WHEREAS, the Board -of County Commissioners. of Monroe County,
Florida has received a request to cons.tru:ct a road from U. S. Highway ¢#1
to the permanent site of the Monroe County Junior College on Stock Island,
Monroe County, Florida, and
WHEREAS, said Board desires, to construct said road as an emer-
gency measure, mw, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the State Road Department be, and
it is hereby authorized to construct a road. from U. S.. Highway #1 tothe
permanent site of the Monroe County Junior College on Stock Island, Mon-
roe County, Florida, the exact location of said road to be designated by
said Board of County Commissioners, and to pay for the cost of .same out
of Monroe County, Florida Secondary Road Funds.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID. BOARD that the Clerk of said
Board be, and_ he is hereby authorized to forward certified copies of this
Resolution to the .State Road Department for appropriate, action as an emier-
gency measure.
