Resolution 036-1965 RESOLUTION NO. 36-1965 SECONDARY ROADS WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 21-1965, Secondary Roads, adopted by the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida on June 30, 1965, said Board authorized the State Road Department to call for new bids on the four-laning of Flagler Avenue in the City of Key West, Florida, same being designated as Project No. 90570, SR S-5-A, and to extend the four-laning of said Flagler Avenue to White Street, if possible, and if it was not deemed feasible to extend said four-laning to White Street, to ex- tend same to Bertha and 1st Streets, and Northwesterly on 1st Street to North Roosevelt Boulevard, and WHEREAS, said Board deems it not feasible to extend said four-laning of Flagler Avenue to White Street, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the State Road Department be, and it is hereby authorized to construct the four-laning of Flagler Avenue in the City of Key West, Florida, same being designated as Project No. 90570, SR S-5-A, from Roosevelt Boulevard to Bertha and 1st Streets, and North- westerly on 1st Street to North Roosevelt Boulevard. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that the Clerk of said Board be, and he is hereby authorized to forward certified copies of this Resolution to the State Road Department for appropriate action.
