SECONDAR Y ROADS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida has agreed to reimburse the Trustees of the Internal Improvement
Fund of the State of Florida the sum of $100,000.00, loaned to said Board
by said Trustees for emergency work on roads and bridges in Monroe Coun-
ty, Florida damaged by Hurricane "Betsy!', and by Resolution No. 34-1965,
Secondary Roads, dated September 15, 1965, authorized the State Road De-
partment to reimburse said sum to said Trustees out of Monroe County,
Florida Secondary Road Funds, in the event Monroe County, Florida did
not receive the necessary Federal funds within a year from the date of said
Resolution, and
WHEREAS, said year has expired and Monroe County, Florida has not
received said Federal funds, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the State Road Department be, and it is
hereby authorized to reimburse the Trustees of the Internal Improvement
Fund of the State of Florida, out of Monroe County, Florida Secondary Road
Funds, the sum of $100, 000. 00, loaned by said Trustees to said Board for
emergency work on roads and bridges in Monroe County, Florida damaged
by Hurricane "Betsy".
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that the Clerk of said
Board be, and he is hereby authorized to forward certified copies of this
Resolution to the State Road Department for appropriate action.
