RESOLUTION NO. 133- 1992
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, REQUESTING DEPARTMENT OF
GENERAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION TO REASSESS SPACE
NEEDS CONCERNING OFFICE SPACE IN FEDERAL BUILDING, KEY
WEST, FLORIDA
WHEREAS, Monroe County currently has a lease with General Services
Administration for office space at the Federal Building, Key West,
Florida, which expires April 30, 1992; and,
WHEREAS, Monroe County further requests to continue to lease office
space at the Key West Federal Building through December 31, 1992; and
WHEREAS, the Department of General Services Administration has
notified Monroe County that it is not their intention to renew said lease;
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY,
FLORIDA, as follows:
1. That said Board has been notified of the termination of the lease
agreement with General Services Administration.
2. That said Board hereby requests General Services Administration to
reassess their space needs in the Federal Building, Key West, Florida and
to reconsider the extension of the current lease through December 31, 1992.
3. That this Resolution shall become effective immediately upon
adoption by the Board and execution by the Presiding Officer and Clerk.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe
County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held on the
19th day of February, A.D. 1992.
