Resolution 011-1970 RESOLUTION NO. 11 -1970 WHEREAS, the Governing Board of Monroe General Hospital desires to borrow from the Key West State Bank, a Florida banking corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of Florida, the sum of $150, 000. 00 as an emergency measure, and to repay said loan out of an- ticipated tax receipts to be received by said hospital from taxes levied on taxable property in Monroe County, Florida on the tax roll for the year 1970, and WHEREAS, by Resolution dated February 10, 1970, said Governing Board has authorized the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida to levy millage for said hospital on the Monroe County tax roll for the year 1970 in an amount sufficient to repay said loan to said Bank, and WHEREAS, by said Resolution, said Governing Board also authorized the Monroe County Tax Collector to pay to the said Key West State Bank, from the proceeds of taxes levied by Monroe County, Florida on all the taxable property in the County of Monroe, State of Florida, for the year 1970, for use and benefit of Monroe General Hospital, when said taxes have been collected and received by said Tax Collector, an amount sufficient to repay the principal sum of $150, 000. 00 and any interest that may be due thereon, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that said Board of County Commissioners will, at the time of setting the millage to be levied on the Monroe County tax roll for the year 1970, levy millage for the use and benefit of Monroe General Hospital in an amount sufficient to repay the principal sum of $150,000.00 and any interest that may be due thereon, to the Key West State Bank, as a result of the Tax Anticipation Warrant payable to said Bank, is sued by the Governing Board of Monroe General Hospital, in accordance with Resolution authorizing same, adopted by said Governing Board on February 10, 1970.
