RESOLUTION NO. 80 -1970
WHEREAS. the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Flo rida. by Resolution dated July 5. 1960, adopted the Southern Standard
Building Code. 1957-58 Revision as adopted by the Building Code Congress.
as the Building Code for Monroe County, Florida. and
WHEREAS. said Board desires to amend Section 107.4. Schedule
of Permit Fees by deleting Paragraphs (A). (B). (C). and substituting in
their place a new schedule of permit fees, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF MONROE COUNTY, that Section 107.4 of the Southern Standard Building
Code as adopted as the building code for Monroe County, Florida, be and
the same is hereby amended to read as follows:

DOUBLE FEE:
When work for which a permit is required by this
ordinance is started or proceeded with prior to
the pertaining of said permit, the fees as speci-
fied herein may be doubled. The payment of such
double fees shall not relieve any person, firm or
corporation from fully complying with the require-
ments of the COUNTY OF MONROE ordinances, nor
from any penalties prescribed therein.
