RESOLUTION NO.l30 -1970
WHEREAS, the Monroe County Health Unit certified David Furlong,
a prisoner in the Monroe County Jail, for treatment at the State Alco-
holic Center in Avon Park, Florida, and
WHEREAS, the Judge of the Criminal Court of Monroe County,
Florida, the County Solicitor and Sheriff of Monroe County, Florida,
have recommended to the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe
County, Florida, that the balance of David Furlong's sentence be sus-
pended provided said prisoner accepts treatment at Avon Park and re-
mains there as long as required, and
WHEREAS, the said David Furlong agreed to said treatment and
was admitted at said State Alcoholic facility on December 14, 1970,
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the sentence imposed upon
David Furlong by the Criminal Court of Record of Monroe County,
Florida, be, and the saine is hereby suspended provided the said
David Furlong, now a patient at the Avon Park Alcoholic Center,
remains at said facility 't!ntil released by said center.
