Resolution 083-1973 RESOLUTION NO. 83..1973 WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention to the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida that there exists serious traffic hazards in that area of U. S. Highway No. 1 at the intersection of roads on Conch Key and Little Conch Key, and WHEREAS, there are no traffic signals, signs or lines to insure the safety of travelling motorists and the public, now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA that the Department of Transportation of the State of Florida be, and it is hereby requested to make a traffic survey on U. S. Highway No. 1 where roads from Conch Key and Little Conch Key enter U. S. Highway No. 1 to determine what safety measures should be taken to alleviate this hazardous traffic condition. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that the Clerk of said Board be and he is hereby authorized to forward certified copies of this Resolution to the Department of Transportation, State of Florida, for appropriate action.
