WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida, pursuant to Section 13 of House Bill No. 1331, Acts of the Legis-
lature, Year 1973, has advertised its intention to levy millage in excess of
the assessed Monroe County Tax Assessor's certified millage, and
WHEREAS, notice of ad valorem tax levy was published in accord-
ance with said above referred to Section 13, and that pursuant to said notice
a public hearing was held on the 4th day of September, 1973, at which time
said Board explained the reasons for the proposed increase in said tax millage
and no objections were made by anyone present at said public hearing, now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF MONROE .COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the tax millage rate for all County
purposes to be levied by the Board of County Commissioners of said County
be and the same is hereby set at 6. 386 mills.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that the Clerk of said
Board be and he is hereby directed to forward a certified copy of this resolu-
tion to the Monroe County Tax Assessor, the Monroe County Tax Collector
and the Department of Revenue of the State of Florida.
