RESOLUTION NO. 5l -1972
RESOLUTION APPROVING PLAT FOR RECORD
WHEREAS, Vincent M. Drost and Wilver I. Drost, his wife,
have requested that the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida, approve for record a plat known as "CUDJOE GARDENS FIFTH &
SEVENTH ADDITIONS, a Subdivision of Portions of Government Lot 1 of
Section 29, Government Lot 7 of Section 30, Government Lots 1 & 2 of
Section 31 and Government Lots 1 & 2 of Section 32 all in Township 66 S. ,
Range 28 E., on Cudjoe Key, Monroe County, Florida'!, and
WHEREAS, in lieu of the bond required by the provisions of
Chapter 59-1577, Laws of Florida, Acts of the Legislature, Year 1959, the
platters of said subdivision will enter an Agreement wi1h the County of
Monroe, State of Florida, to convey to said County Lots 14 and 15 of Block 17,
Cudjoe Gardens Sixth Addition, and Lot 13, Block 17 and Lots 17 and 18,
Block 16, Cudjoe Gardens Fifth Addition of said Plat, as security for the
construction and paving of streets in said subdivision, and
WHEREAS, the County Tax Assessor and County Zoning Director
have recommended that said Board approve said plat for record, provided
said Board waives the provisions contained in the above referred to law,
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the provisions of Chapter 59-1577,
Laws of Florida, Acts of the Legislature Year 1959, be, and the same are
hereby waived, in that property is being accepted and pledged in lieu of a
bond, so far as the plat known as "CUDJOE GARDENS FIFTH & SEVENTH
ADDITIONS, a Subdivision of Portions of Government Lots 1 of Section 29,
Government Lot 7 of Section 30, Government Lots 1 & 2 of Section 31 and
Government Lots 1 & 2 of Section 32 all in Township 66 S., Range 28 E. ,

on Cudjoe Key! Monroe County, Florida" is concerned, and that said Plat
be, and the same is hereby approved for record, and the Chairman and the
Clerk of said Board are hereby authorized to sign the certificate of approval
on said Plat, upon delivery of said Board of the executed Agreement above
referred to, and delivery of executed Deed conveying the above referred
to property to said County.
