RESOLUTION NO. 84 -1972
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Monroe County, Florida, at a
public hearing on April 28, 1972, duly called and held in accordance with
the zoning regulations of Monroe County, Florida, and the laws of the State
of Florida, considered the request of NOLAN O. WILKINS for a change of
zoning on part of the S. E. One-fourth of the S. W. One-fourth of Section 1
and that Part of Government Lot 1, Section 12, all in Township 66 South,
Range 32 East (Key Vaca) from Classification R U -1 to BU -2 and BU -1 as
defined in the Monroe County Zoning Regulations, and
WHEREAS, after taking testimony and hearing all persons desiring
to be heard, said Board granted the request for a change of zoning from R U-1
to R U - 2 and B U - 1, and
WHEREAS, ALBER T D. BLACK filed an appeal with the Board of
County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, asking the Board to reverse
the decision of the Zoning Board, in accordance with the laws applicable thereto,
and
WHEREAS, on the 5th day of July, 1972, the Board of County Com-
missioners held such appeal and attorneys appeared on behalf of NOLAN O.

WILKINS and ALBER T D. BLACK, and after reviewing the record ani pro-
ceedings and said action taken at said public hearing on April 28, 1972, and
hearing arguments of couns e1 for the above partie s voted to uphold the action
of the Zoning Board in granting the request for change of zoning from RU-1
to BU -1 and reverse the action of the Zoning Board in granting a change of
zoning fr om R U - 1 to R U - 2, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to pass a Resolution confirming the up-
holding of the above action of said County Commis sion, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the decision of the Zoning Board
made at the public hearing on April 28, 1972, granting the request of NOLAN
O. WILKINS, for a change of zoning on part of the S. E. One-fourth of the
S. W. One-fourth of Section 1 and that Part of Government Lot 1, Section 12,
all in Township 66 South, Range 32 East (Key Vaca) from R U -1 to R U - 2 is

hereby reversed and that the action of said Zoning Board at said meeting in
granting the change of zoning on said property from RU-l to BU-l is upheld.
