Resolution 115-1972 RESOLUTION NO. 115 -1972 WHEREAS, at the regular session of the Legislature of the State of Florida for the year 1972, Chapter 72-619, Laws of Florida, Special Acts of the Legislature Year 1972, was passed, creating the Monroe County Waste Collection and Disposal District, which said law contains provisions requiring a referendum election to be held in the unincorporated areas of Monroe County, Florida to authorize assessments not to exceed Ten Dollars ($10.00) per acre to provide for the acquisition, construction, maintenance and improvement of waste collection and disposal facilities in the unincor- porated area of Monroe County, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida has been requested to hold said referendum election in Monroe County, Florida on the 7th day of November, 1972, and WHEREAS, it is necessary for the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida to call and conduct said referendum election, and to give notice of said election as required by the Laws of Florida, now, therefore, ~ BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that a referendum election be held in the unincorporated areas of Monroe County, Florida, on November 7, 1972, at the same time the general election is being held, at the same polling places in the unincorporated areas of Monroe County, Florida, and con- ducted by the same Clerks and Inspectors appointed to serve in said general election, to authorize assessments not to exceed Ten Dollars ($10.00) per acre to provide for the acquisition, construction, maintenance and improve- ment of waste collection and disposal facilities in the unincorporated area of Monroe County. -2- BE IT FUR THER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that notice of holding said referendum election be published as required by Chapter 100. 342~ Florida Statutes 1972.
