RESOLUTION NO. 124 -1972
WHEREAS. the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida desires to renounce and disclaim any right of the County and the
public in and to the hereinafter described street. alley-way. road or highway
and
WHEREAS. under Chapter 336. Florida Statutes. it is necessary to
hold a public hearing after publishing due notice of said hearing in accordance
with said Chapter. now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that at 2:00 P. M.. Tuesday, December 5,
1972. said Board will hold a public hearing to determine whether or not said
Board will renounce and disclaim any right of the County and the public in and
to the following described street, alley..way, road or highway:
A Fifty (50) foot strip of land lying immediately to the
South of Lot 19, Blcok 2, Sombrero Beach Village, accord-
ing to the Plat thereof. recorded in Plat Book 5. Page 86,
of the Public Records of Monroe County. Florida and being
more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
Commencing at the S. W. Corner of Lot 19. Block 2. of
said Sombrero Beach Village, said point to be known as the
Point of Beginning, bear South 50 feet to a point, thence
bear East 90 feet to a point; thence bear North 50 feet to a
point; thenc e bear West 90 fe et back to the Point of Be-
ginning.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that the Clerk of
said Board be. and he is hereby ordered to publish notice of said meeting
in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 336, Florida Statutes.
